Moisture-Resistant Fan Access Door

Designed and engineered a custom protruding access door for an industrial steam fan to prevent moisture intrusion and enable safe blade inspection. Modeled the design in AutoCAD, incorporating welded seams, hinge clearances, and flange geometry to ensure structural integrity and field compatibility. Collaborated directly with millwrights to capture real-world installation constraints and fabrication requirements. The final design addressed critical moisture-control risks, enhancing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and plant safety standards.
